  1. Install a new entry door. It’s the first thing home buyers see when they walk into the house.
  2. A fresh coat of paint inside and outside will really brighten the home.
  3. Upgrade windows to dual pane vinyl windows. Double paine windows add value and comfort to your home.
  4. Remodel the bathroom and update the fixtures. Replace outdated faucets. Freshen up the grout. Replace, reface or repaint the cabinets.
  5. Upgrade kitchen appliances. Install a new stove and oven, and add a built in microwave oven if room permits. Replace, reface or repaint the cabinets. Install new countertops and light fixtures.
  6. Look around the house at the things that are visible, such as door knobs and cabinet hardware. Change out the old door knobs and cabinet pulls to provide a clean uniform look. Brushed nikel is popular and has a bright new look.
  7. A new tile entryway is an improvement worth the investment. It gives your home an inviting entrance.
  8. Laminate flooring is a beautiful modern upgrade. If the existing carpet is shabby, it’s time to upgrade!
  9. Power wash the exterior of the house and touch up any paint that needs it.
  10. Clean up the landscape – install new sod if necessary. Buy plants in a 5 gallon or larger container to plant that are already growing and blooming.
